CLOSERS WEEKLY

Editorial Standards

The rules every Closers Weekly article follows before it goes live.

Last updated October 17, 2026

Accuracy comes first

Every specific fact we publish, including pay figures, statistics, dates, laws and details about real people, links to the source it came from. We favor primary sources: government data such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, regulators such as the FTC and FCC, company websites, publishers and published research. If we cannot verify a fact, we leave it out.

Fact-checking

  • Numbers carry the year of the data and what they measure.
  • Quotes are published only when we can confirm the wording and the speaker through a reliable source, and we link that source.
  • Example scripts, emails and talk tracks are written by Closers Weekly and labeled as examples. They are never presented as something a real person said.
  • Scenes used to open a story are either documented events with a source or clearly marked as hypothetical.

Independence

Coverage is not for sale. Being profiled in Featured Closers is an editorial decision. If we ever run sponsored content or use affiliate links, we will label it at the top of the page.

Articles about pay, commission, insurance, telemarketing and consumer sales are general information. They are not legal, financial or tax advice, and no income is guaranteed. Where a law applies, such as the TCPA for calling or the FTC Cooling-Off Rule for door-to-door sales, we link the regulator's own page and encourage readers to check with a qualified professional.

How we use tools

Our editors use research and writing software, including AI tools, to find sources and draft. Software does not decide what is true: every fact still has to trace back to a source we link, and the editor is accountable for what we publish.

Updates and corrections

We update articles when the facts change and show the updated date on the page. Errors are fixed under our corrections policy. To report one, use the contact page.
